On the highest difficulty, you're reloading one bullet at the time with a bolt-action sniper rifle. It reload faster than mag-filled sniper rifles. How I measured Reload Speed : Ranked from faster to longer, the M1Garand uses a clip-feed system. The higher number of bullets your weapon carries in a single mag, the higher capacity it has. It's based on personal experience, so this ranking might be different between players.This is also based on my campaign playthroughs with every weapon. Reliability measures how well you can rely on the scope detail to compensate for your shots, given there is no aim assist. How I measured Reliability : Every sniper rifle has a different reticle. The bigger the target was, the better the zoom.
How I measured Zoom Level : I basically took several screenshots with every rifle at maximum zoom, on the same target. For a given target in the same distance with every rifle, the closer your red dot is to the middle of your scope, the higher the muzzle velocity. How I measured Muzzle Velocity : Wind on, bullet drop on, aim assist on. Then, I double-checked my observations in custom difficulties (aim assist, bullet drop and wind would be turned on). I basically went through the entire V2 campaign several times with each rifle, getting a feel for every one of them. (I also double-checked in ZAT to make sure these stats were still good. Since the entire Zombie Army game series use the same game engine as Sniper Elite V2, the same observations can apply here. These measurements comes from a guide I made for Sniper Elite V2. But then again, I haven't yet played on elite difficulty. The M1 Carbine seems to me to be the weapon of choice, especially if all snipers do equal damage.
